PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display both an enlarged picture and an original picture so that they can be viewed at the same time, and to improve the usability by enlarging the specific video signal corresponding to an arbitrary region, putting a video signal and the enlarged specific video signal together, and outputting the composite signal to a liquid crystal display part. SOLUTION: When the arbitrary region is set, a control part 3 output the video signal sent from an input part 1 to a display process part 9. At the same time, the control part 3 extracts the video signal corresponding to the arbitrary region from the video signal. Then the control part 3 outputs the specific video signal to a 1st storage part 4 and stores it. Further, the control part 3 enlarges the specific video signal or updated specific video signal at a previously set enlargement rate through an enlarging process part 8. The control part 3 puts together the video signal sent from the control part 3 and the enlarged specific video signal through the display process part 9. Then the control part 3 outputs the composite signal to the liquid crystal display part through the display process part 9.
