The float (3) and the switch (4,4a) are located inside a housing (1) and are encased completely by the housing (1), which features a bolt (6,7) molded on its underside (1a). The bolt (6,7) acts in conjunction with a plate section in the water collecting tub as a bayonet fastener. A seal (9) sprayed onto the underside of the housing (1a) surrounds the plate section (11) in the locked position and adjoins the tub.
