PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an air conditioner, a lighting apparatus, etc., in a different room across a wall by installing a transmitter and a receiver separated from each other by a partition wall, allowing the receiver to receive an induced electromagnetic signal from the transmitter, and operating electric appliences in the room where the receiver is installed by means of an infrared-ray emission unit. SOLUTION: A couple of control units A1 and A2 are installed on both the surfaces of the partition wall sectioning 1st and 2nd rooms 30a and 30b sandwiching the partition wall. In respective rooms 30a and 30b, the desired electric appliences B1 and B2 are installed respectively so as to be operated by respective infrared rays emitters of A1 and A2. A remote controller 5 sends a control signal of infrared rays to the control unit A1 from the 1st room 30a and then the infrared rays are received from the transmitter of the unit A1 and converted into an induced radio wave to transmit an induced electromagnetic signal Z from an antenna. This signal is received by the antenna of the control unit A2 in the 2nd room 30b to send the control signal to the electric applience B2. |
