PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify noise and to easily repair by vibrating a component to be diagnosed at the time of a squeak and a rattle in a multi-component assembly like an automobile, and generating a set of predetermined noise, thereby inexpensively and accurately regenerating the squeak and the rattle in a vehicle at a steady state. SOLUTION: A vehicle to be diagnosed for a squeak and a rattle is selected (step 10), the selected vehicle is driven on a wrong road at various speeds, and data are acquired from various places of a sub-system and components by an accelerometer (step 12). Then, to specify a vibration measuring position, a modal analysis is executed at several test measuring positions, and vibrating characteristics of the component are obtained (step 16). When the measuring position is specified, a transfer function is calculated (step 18), and a reciprocal filter expression for converting an input signal into an output signal of the component to be diagnosed is calculated (step 20), and a set of calibration signals corresponding to the set of the component to be diagnosed is obtained by using a reciprocal filter processing method (step 22).
