PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make electrode plate performance uniform, enhance handling capability, and to increase battery performance by sticking pasting paper fast to an electrode plate in at least two sides up and down. SOLUTION: Pasting paper 2 is attached to the lower surface of a belt-like grid body 1 made of a belt-like lead alloy sheet, a positive active material is filled in the belt-like grid body 1 with an active material filling machine 3 installed in the upper part of the belt-like grid body 1, then pasting paper 2 is attached to the upper surface. Portions corresponding to surroundings of an electrode plate of the grid body 1 are pressed when it is passed through a pasting paper working device 4, then cut with a divider 5 one by one to form an electrode plate 6, and the electrode plate 6 is aged and dried. A positive plate in which the pasting paper 2 is stuck on at least two sides up and down to the active material has a small number of peeling off of the pasting paper after drying compared with one which is not worked or stuck on only the both lateral sides. Instead of pressing, an adhesive with no bad effect may be used. |
