摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize miniaturization and the reduction of cost, to prevent image irregularity and to prevent the filming of a photoreceptor from occurring by applying voltage to a conductive cleaning blade within the timing that an electrifying means acts and discharging an area wider than an area on the photoreceptor where a transfer means acts. SOLUTION: When the transfer voltage is applied, potential gets low in a blank part and a toner part or the blank part and the toner part are electrified in reverse polarities. The photoreceptor is frequently electrified to have the reverse plarity at the edge part of paper (d). By controlling so that the voltage is applied to the conductive cleaning blade within the timing that the electrifying means acts and the area wider than the area on the photoreceptor where the transfer means acts is discharged, the entire potential gets high in accordance with post-transfer potential, especially, the potential gets high at the edge part of the paper (e). By discharging in such a state, the potential is nearly uniform before electrification (f).
