PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool with a cutter capable of surely cutting a fishing line. SOLUTION: In this a spool 10 for a fishing line equipped with an approximately cylindrical spool body part 14 on which a fishing line 12 is wound and approximately disklike collar parts 16 and 18 attached to each end part of the spool body 14, a cutter 36 having a knife tip edge 37 directed toward the central axis of the spool body part 14 and the side of the cutter extended in the radial direction is characteristically arranged inside the spool body part 14. In the constitution, after the fishing line 12 unwound from the spool 10 is wound and hung on the cutter 36, the fishing line 12 is drawn in the direction to separate it from the spool 10 and the fishing line 12 can be cut.
