PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Y-type strainer in which screen disassembling and assembling work can easily be carried out. SOLUTION: In a Y-type strainer comprising a screen 14 for collecting foreign substances inserted in an auxiliary pipeline branched from an approximately linearly extended main pipeline 11 and extended slantingly, the screen 14 is made of a metal sheet in which a large number of small holes 17 are punched and which is formed to be cylindrical. A cover body 16 is integrally attached to the base end part of the cylindrical screen 14 and the cover body 16 is fastened and fixed in a screen attachment and detachment port 15 of the auxiliary pipeline by a clamp 18. |
