PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making vibration isolating device, by which the generation of a large impulsive sound due to vibrations by an earthquake can be reduced effectively as a constant range or limitation capable of corresponding to the amplitude stroke of the expected earthquake is set while no large labor is required even in replacement works, the term of works is not lengthened remarkably, and cost can be suppressed, and the construction of vibration isolation of a lightweight structure, on which the vibration isolating device is mounted. SOLUTION: The vibration isolating device has a lower bearing plate 2 fixed on the ground side, a spherical body 5 placed on the lower bearing plate 2 in a rollable manner, an upper bearing plate 3 borne to the spherical body 5, fixed to the upper section of the lower bearing plate 2 while holding the spherical body 5 and fastened on the lightweight structure side, ring-shaped stopper sections 7, 9 being formed on the top face of the lower bearing plate 2 and/or the underside of the upper bearing plate 3 while surrounding the spherical body 5, and one impulse absorbers 8, 10 fixed on the inner circumferential surfaces of the stopper sections 7, 9 and composed of a rubber or elastic foam while being molded in a ring shape. The other impulse absorbers 6 molded in an approximately cylindrical shape are fastened extending over the outer circumferential surface of the upper bearing plate from the outer circumferential surface of the lower bearing plate 2.
