The seed drill head has a wedge shape and is dragged to create the sowing furrow. A trailing finger (68), with the same width as the rear of the wedge, is hinged (49) at the rear of the wedge and guides the seed into the furrow. A pressure finger (46) on the same pivot, is spring loaded to press onto the sowing finger. The spring (52) is secured to an extension of the pressure finger, with the upper end clipped into one of a number of holes (53) on the rear of the wedge. The spring effect is transferred by a sprung lip (63) secured to the pressure finger by a wing nut fastener and lying on the rear of the sowing finger. |
