PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound information such as a timbre selecting device permitting to easily allocate tone, etc. SOLUTION: Various musical sound information belonging to plural categories are stored in RAM 14. For each category, the RAM 14 has a storage area for storing specified information specifying musical sound information belonging to the corresponding category. The timbre selection buttons 18-32 for selecting categories are provided and variation buttons 34, 36 for selecting storage areas are provided, and a CPU 6 reads the specified information based on the operation results of 18-32, 34, 36, and reads musical sound information based on this read information. |
