PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-transmitting base body for an electrophotographic photoreceptor which shows good storage property for a long period of time without causing an irregular focus state, which shows high dimensional stability of a photoreceptor even when it is used for a long time at high temp, and which gives good image characteristics in repeated use, and to provide a photoreceptor, color image forming method and image forming device using this base body. SOLUTION: This light-transmitting base body for an inner exposure type electrophotographic photoreceptor has an electrically conductive layer and a photosensitive layer on its surface. The base body is made of a crosslinked polymer resin and both of its roundness and cylindricity are <=40μm. The insolublity of the base body in the main solvent used as the coating liquid of the conductive layer and the photosensitive layer is specified to be >=20%.
