PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial fishing bank by reusing a scrapped ship made of an FRP as a fishing bank without dismantling and processing the ship so as to retain the artificial fishing bank in a stable state on the bottom of the sea. SOLUTION: A scrapped ship 2 made of a fiber-reinforced plastic is partially or wholly housed in a box body 1 made of concrete or metal having window spaces 11 on the outer periphery and is connected to the box body 1. Consequently the scrapped ship made of FRP can be reused as it is, stability on the bottom of the sea is improved and box bodies can be readily piled up. When small pieces of fiber-reinforced plastic material are mixed as a concrete reinforcing aggregate for the box body 1 made of concrete, the reused amount of scrapped ship made of FRP can be increased and the durability and corrosion resistance of the box body itself are improved.
