<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member which has excellent slidability with respect to a magnetic tape even at a high temp. and high humidity, has a sufficient mechanical strength and high dimensional accuracy and is, therefore, adequate for a contact part with the magnetic tape of a VTR cylinder, etc., by treating molded goods consisting of a specific resin material by a simple means. SOLUTION: This tape sliding member is formed by molding a resin material contg. preferably a polyarylene sulfide resin and inorg. packing material. The contact surface of the member with the tape on which ruggedness is formed, and the inorg. packing material particles are partly exposed on the surfaces of projecting parts. The friction coefft. at 35 deg.C and at relative humidity of 90% at the contact surface with the magnetic tape is <0.35. The contact surface with the magnetic tape is sandlbasted and is then subjected to lapping and polishing.</p> |
