<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the water hammer generated in sudden closing of mixing valves for water combination faucet and prevent the generation of a water hammer in opening of the valves after closing by forming a small hole regularly allowing a passing space to communication with an absorbing body on an adjusting valve element or valve seat, and limiting the flow rate of the fluid supplied from the absorbing body to the passing space. SOLUTION: When the lever of mixing valves for water combination faucet is operated in the closing direction, the pressure in a supply pipe 5 and a connecting pipe 6 is suddenly raised by the sudden closing operation, and a water hammer acts on an adjusting valve element after it is passed from the secondary chamber 9 of a stop cock 7 to the communicating hole 13 of a valve rod 12 and the passage of an adaptor 16. The adjusting valve element overcomes the energizing force of a spring and retreats from the valve seat, and the fluid enters into an absorbing body 28 to once to extend the absorbing body 28 within a case 19, so that the water hammer can be absorbed. When the lever of the mixing valves for water combination faucet is operated in the opening direction, the pressure water in the absorbing body 28 is discharged to the secondary chamber 9 of the stop cock 7 through the small hole of the adjusting valve element little by little, so that the secondary water hammer can be prevented.</p> |
