PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the peak value of Q switch pulse laser light as set by controlling the up slope stably with high accuracy at the time of rising a modulation pulse signal. SOLUTION: Emitter terminals of both transistors 42, 44 constituting a current mirror circuit 46 are connected commonly and connected electrically with the terminal of power supply voltage VB (first power supply voltage) through an NPN transistor 48. Collector terminal of the first transistor 42 is connected with the terminal of ground potential (second power supply voltage) through a capacitor 50. Collector terminal of the second transistor 44 is connected with the terminal of ground potential through a variable resistance resistor circuit 52. Resistance of the resistor circuit 52 is selected at a desired value by a resistance selecting means 53 depending on a resistance selecting signal from a main control section. The capacitor 50 is connected with a discharge circuit 61 and the input terminal of a pulse signal output circuit 74.
