PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat dissipation efficiency by a method, wherein a different press molding mold is provided for each position corresponding to the pitch of the feeding quality of a metal plate on a single feeding line, and the metal plate is press molded continuously into cylindrical shape from both the left and right sides towards center side. SOLUTION: A heat sink 1 is formed by continuously press-molding metal plates one by one from both the left and right sides towards the center side. In this processing, a cylindrical heat dissipating part 4 having a slit 5 is formed by bending the cylindrical heat dissipating part 4, and an irregularity part is formed on the front circumferential wall of the heat dissipating part 4. According to this manufacturing method, as a bending work is systematically and efficiently performed, a heat sink can be manufactured easily at a low price. Also, this heat sink 1 has relatively high heat dissipating effect through the chimney effect of the cylindrical heat dissipating part the ventilation effect of the slit 5 and the relatively high heat dissipating effect can be obtained by the increased surface area of the irregularity part.
