PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve frictional and abrasive properties and to reduce generation of mold deposits when molding by compounding a polyethylene having a molecular weight distribution, wherein the ratio of a weight-average molecular weight to a number-average molecular weight is not more than a specific value, with a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: The polyethylene used has a molecular weight distribution wherein the ratio (Mw/Mn) of a weight-average molecular weight Mw to a number-average molecular weight Mn is not more than 5. The polyethylene may be modified by grafting with a vinyl monomer having at least one functional group selected from carbonyl, phenyl, epoxy and nitrile groups. The content of such a polyethylene in a resin composition is preferably 1-30 wt.% relative to the total composition. In addition, a reinforcing agent such as a potassium titanate fiber may be added into the resin composition for the purpose of increasing a mechanical strength and the like, particularly preferably in an amount of 5-30 wt.% relative to the total composition.
|
