PURPOSE: A membrane using resin manufactured by condensation polymerization of glycol and dicarboxylic acid is provided to send forth a fixed quantity of fragrance continuously at room temperature. CONSTITUTION: Polyester resin(-(-CO-(CH2)n-COO-(CH2)m-O-)L-), n = a repeating bond unit of primary methyl group, m = a repeating bond unit of secondary methyl group, L = a repeating unit of this compound) is manufactured by condensation polymerization of glycol and dicarboxylic acid. The membrane emits a fixed quantity of fragrance through many fine air holes continuously without applying any heat and passing moisture and so on. Test shows it is 5 times as good as LDPE in an air permeability of water vapor (WVTR) at 37.8°C and 2 times in O2 at 23°C respectively. The membrane can be used for aroma, antibacterial and wrapping foodstuffs.
