PURPOSE: A transmitting channel selecting method of packet data is provided to transmit the packet data by selecting an exclusive channel or a competitive channel according to the capacity of a buffer of a transmitting part. CONSTITUTION: The transmitting channel selecting method of packet data comprises the steps of: confirming at a packet channel selecting unit if the capacity of a buffer for storing the packet data of a user exceeds the critical storing capacity when accepting the packet data of a user; confirming if the packet channel selecting unit transmits the current packet data of a user with an exclusive channel if the capacity of the buffer exceeds the critical storing capacity after confirming the storing capacity; and transmitting the packet data of a user if the packet channel selecting unit transmits the current packet data of a user with the exclusive channel.
