MEDICINE OF EXTRACT FROM LONG AGED PLATYCODON GRANDIFLORUM(KOREAN NAME DORAJI)

PURPOSE: A medicine prepared by using an extract from aged Doraji or selectively adding another herb medicine or extract thereof to the extract, is provided for supplemental health food to promote the use of Doraji. CONSTITUTION: The extract for the medicine is obtained by a method in that "Doraji" roots of over 20 years age are dried and crushed to powder, to be heated in water or organic solvent at the temperature of 90-100°C for 4-6 hours to extract the essence twice in the process for filtration, the filtered extract being added with another herb medicine or its extract selectively. The prepared medicine is used to treat bacterial disease, inflammation and rheumatism.
