PURPOSE: A method is provided to process a data and record the data to the inner memory of a portable phone after recognizing and reading the bar code electronic serial number data that is printed a label. CONSTITUTION: The portable phone's electronic serial number recording apparatus comprises a portable phone loading device(11), a jig unit(3), a connector unit(15), a ESN record control device(17), a robot(19), a main controller(23) and a power supplying device(25). The ESN record control device has a controller for data-communicating with the portable phone by transmitting a certain electronic serial number data and a control data to the connector unit after properly changing for a communicating protocol.
