PURPOSE: A reaper is provided which is connected to a power cultivator or one of agricultural machines to cut corn, wheat or other grass for stock feed before the harvest season irrespective of the height of growth. CONSTITUTION: The main body(1) has a plurality of fastening bands(2) to hold support tubes(3) fixed by screws(4) to stand upright, the tubes being inserted with a shaft(5) to be held by bearings(6,6a). The shafts(5) each having its lower and a pulley(7) and a cutter blade(8) fastened by a screw(9) and the pulleys are engaged with one another by a guide belt(10) having projections(10a) and also having on the top a pulley(7a) fastened by a screw(9a) and engaged with the top pulleys by an endless belt(11). On the top center the main body(1) has a pair of shafts(20) each having screw(20a) on the free end, and on a side the body(1) is provided with tension rollers(21) and also on a side in the rear is mounted with a position shift gear box(30) whose pulley (3a) and the pulley(7a) of the shaft(5) are engaged with a belt(31). For operation, the reaper is connected to a cultivator or a tractor for power transmission with the use of an endless belt and pulleys to actuate the cutter blade while the body(1) moves forward.
