PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing master plate which can be made by scanning exposure in a short time, which enables production of a lithographic printing plate having excellent hydrophilicity in a non-picture part, excellent strength in a picture part, excellent contamination resistance and printing durability as printing performance, and which is suitable for plate making process by a developing method in a printing machine, and to provide a method to suppress practical problems on the printing master plate such as remaining film which is caused by shortage of thermal reaction near the supporting body. SOLUTION: This lithographic printing master plate has a layer containing (a) a hydrophobic polymer compd. having functional groups in the side chains which change from hydrophobic to hydrophilic by heat and having hydrophilic functional groups, and (b) a light-absorbing agent which absorbs laser light to convert into heat, on a supporting body having a hydrophilic surface. In the producing method of a lithographic printing plate, the master plate is exposed to laser light to form an image and then the exposed part in the recording layer is removed in a printing machine. |
