<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize fuel injection control suited to each combustion by freely switching primary combustion wherein there is an inert gas rate in a combustion chamber more than an inert gas rate in which a soot generating rate peaks, and secondry combustion wherein the inert gas rate is few in the combustion chamber, and forming a map of a fuel injection time suited to each combustion, SOLUTION: It is judged whether a flag showing that an operating condition of an engine is in a first operating region is set or not. In the case where the flag is set, it is judged whether a command load L is larger than a first boundary X1 or not. When the judgment is L<=X1, low temperature combustion is carried out. Namely, target openings of throttle valve 20 and an EGR control valve 31 are calculated from a corresponding map. Fuel pressure Pc in a common rail 34 detected by a fuel pressure sensor 36 is read, an injection rate Q is calculated from the map by interpolation. At the time of L>Xi, secondary combustion is carried out, and target openings of the throttle valve 20 and the EG control valve 31 are calculated from a corresponding map.</p> |
