PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an albumin-containing peritoneal dialysis solution capable of remarkably inhibiting the onset of peritonitis by adding albumin in a specific proportion. SOLUTION: This peritoneal dialysis solution is obtained by including (A) albumin, suitably human serum albumin, in a proportion of 0.1-30 g/L. Further, in addition, (B) an electrolyte (sodium ion 110-140 m Eq/L, potassium ion 0-0.05 m Eq/L, magnesium ion 0-2 m Eq/L, calcium ion 0-6 m Eq/L and chlorine ion 80-144 m Eq/L), (C) an osmotic pressure regular (one or more than two kinds of compounds selected from glycerol, monosaccharide, polysaccharide, sugar alcohol, gelatin, hydaluronic acid and amino acid) and (D) an aqueous solution (a pH regulator is contained) of physiologically permissible pH are preferably included.
