The invention concerns a motor vehicle wiper wherein a wiper blade (12) is articulated to the longitudinal end of a wiper arm via a connector (20) which is articulated on the arm and fixed over a linking portion (10) of the blade (12), and wherein the linking portion includes two substantially longitudinal and parallel lateral flanges (14), and a transverse element (44) extending between the two flanges (14) and designed to co-operate with a mobile lock (40) borne by the connector (20) for fixing the connector (20) on the blade (12). The invention is characterised in that the lock (40) is articulated on the connector (20) between a locking position and an unlocking position.
