The fold out atlas (1) has an index made out of double sided card. The double sides each have a tab (10) on their outer edges. The folds (8,9) are offset laterally so that the individual sheet groups (5,6) form a matrix of the tabs. In the folded together position of the atlas, the facing arrangement of the tabs corresponds to the arrangement of the sections in the card.
