<p>The invention concerns an air conveyor comprising a guide rail (3) whereon articles (1) are to be suspended, and along which the articles are to be transported in a specific conveying direction. The conveyor essentially comprises additional pneumatic means (10) designed to generate as required a plurality of reverse air jets directed on the articles in a direction opposite to that of their conveying direction. The conveyor in particular enables to remotely and quickly release articles accidentally immobilised while they are being transported, or to slow down, immobilise or synchronise articles.</p> |
