Dynamic and/or static separating devices(16,30) are fitted simultaneously inside and outside the mill(10) which separate grinding elements of 300 micrometers or less in at least two stages. With the first separation only between 50% and 90% of the elements are kept back in the milling container, with the rest of the grinding elements leaving the mill. The material to be ground loaded by up to 50% with grinding elements passes through the mill several times until the material is fed to a second dynamic/static separating device and is separated from the grinding elements.
