A separated type air conditioner capable of sending air to two rooms, is characterized in that a seal plate which can be opened and closed freely is provided in at least one side of the front and the back sides of the indoor unit; an inlet and an outlet are provided in at least one side of the front and the back sides of the indoor unit, an evaporator is provided between the inlet and the outlet, a fan is provided in the outlet, the fan is blades or turbine fan, the seal plate is movable or rotatable. This air conditioner is simple in structure, can regulate the temperature of one room or two adjacent rooms, and is convenient and usable.
