Granular carriers for producing granular pesticides to be applied on water surface which contain a water-soluble organic solid acid salt and have an improved flotation ratio of the pesticidal active ingredient; granular pesticides having an improved flotation ratio of the pesticidal active ingredient which contain the above carriers or a water-soluble organic solid acid salt and a liquid containing a hardly water-soluble pesticidal active ingredient and having a specific gravity of 1.01 or above; and utilization of these granules as pesticides for application on the water surface.
