PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the access time to a desired sector region by comparing logical address values and accessing the sector region of the set physical address as a start point of the sector region of the physical address base on this result. SOLUTION: Defect list information is reproduced by reproduction processing and the number D11 (=3) of the defect sector region included in the sector regions of the physical address 1 to the physical address X1 (=12) is calculated in the case the sector region of the logical address X2 (=16) of the value larger than the logical address X1 is accessed after the sector region of the logical address X1 (=12) is accessed. At the time of accessing the sector region of the logical address X1, the numbers D11, D12, D13...D1n of the defect sector regions are calculated and the physical address Y1 = physical address (X1+ D11+D12+D13...+D1n) are calculated. The physical address Y1 is accessed with the sector region of the physical address 1 as the start point and, therefore, the high-speed access is made possible.
