PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a parent rope support wherein a parent rope support can be firmly connected to a clamping jig, in the mounting structure for a parent rope support wherein the parent rope support made up of pipe materials is attached to a steel framed flange part through a clamping jig so as to protrude upward. SOLUTION: A clamping jig 20 which has a C-shaped cross-section and clamps at its open portion 34 is brought into clamping engagement with a steel framed flange part 1. In the jig 20, a pair of mount pieces 31, 31, disposed in opposition to each other, is provided so as to protruded upward. And a reinforcing core 40 is fitted in a hollow portion 10a at the lower end of a parent rope support 10. And the lower part of the support 10 is fitted into between the pieces 31, 31 and the lower end of the core 40 is connected to the jib 20 through tongue- and-groove engagement 32, 42. Under such conditions, both the pieces 31, 31 are connected to the support 10 and the core 40 by means of bolt and nut 50, 51.
