PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skiing motion detecting device and a skiing motion simulating device which provide a skiing motion training device for carrying out an actual skiing motion more essentially and accurately and making a body easy to move and can more accurately detect a plurality of skiing motion elements and their mutual action signals. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a rotation chair; a chair rotation detecting means 3 for detecting the rotation of the chair; a rotation scaffold 4 to rotate with a chair rotation shaft 2 or its nearby spot taken as an axis; a scaffold rotation detecting means 6 for detecting the rotation of the rotation scaffold; a rotation leg base 7 to rotate with an optional point on the rotation scaffold taken as an axis; a leg base rotation detecting means 9 for detecting the rotation of the rotation scaffold; and a right and a left leg base 22, 21 which move back and forth in parallel to each other on the rotation scaffold.
