<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain toner excellent in transferability, ensuring little toner residue after transfer and not causing untransfer by incorporating toner particles contg. a bonding resin and a colorant, an inorg. fine powder and a specified compd. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least toner particles contg. at least a bonding resin and a colorant, an inorg. fine powder and a hydrotalcite compd. of the formula, wherein 0<[X=(x1+x2+...+xk)]<=0.5, Y=(y1+y2+...+yj)=1- X, (j) and (k) are each an integer of >=2, M12+, M22+,... and Mj2+ are divalent metal ions different from one another, L13+, L23+,... and Lk3+ are trivalent metal ions different from one another, An+ is an n-valent anion and m>=0. The hydrotalcite compd. preferably contains Ca as a divalent metal other than Mg. The bonding resin preferably has 1.0-40.0 KOH/g acid value.</p> |
