<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an engine brake action and to eliminate anxiety imparted to a driver by making a clutch mechanism into a half clutch state from a point of time when an engine speed detection means becomes out of order during traveling of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A clutch control part 10 judges an engine speed sensor 13 to have a failure when a detection signal from the sensor 13 shows engine speed zero, although a detection signal of an ignition sensor 11 shows an ignition switch ON. When an output of a speed sensor 16 shows a figure except zero, the output is detected as a failure of the engine speed sensor 13 during traveling of the vehicle. In this case, the presence or absence of a braking operation is judged by a signal from a brake sensor 12. When the braking operation is not performed, a control signal slowly making a clutch into a half-clutch state is outputted to a clutch actuator 17. As a result, an engine brake action can be obtained from the point of time.</p> |
