PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid composition preparation effective for preventing a deterioration caused by lactam formation and having excellent storage stability by making the preparation include an amino-substituted butanoic acid derivative and a water-retaining agent. SOLUTION: The objective preparation is prepared by including (A) a 4- amino-3-substituted-butanoic acid derivative of formula I (R1 is H, methyl or the like; R2 is a 3-8C alkyl, a halogen, trifluoromethyl or the like) [e.g. 1-(aminomethyl)cyclohexane-acetic acid (gabapentin) of formula II], (B) a water- retaining agent (ethylene glycol, butylene glycol, monacetyl glyceride, etc.), and, as necessary, (C) an assistant for drug preparation. The amount of the component B is preferably 0.01-25 wt.% based on the component A. Preferably, the above component C is replaced with a neutral amino acid including L- leucine, L-valine, etc.
