PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable data communication, capable of preventing the generation of a communication error after the activation of a communication software, while easily finding out the position of a satisfactory communication state by confirming the communication state after infrared communication equipment is positioned. SOLUTION: One of two pieces of infrared communication equipment is defined as a reception side B, a reception start switch 19 on the reception side B is turned on, a start pulse V5 is generated and the state of enabling the counting start of a counter circuit 20 is provided. The other of equipment is defined as a transmission side A, a transmission start switch 10 is turned on, and a start pulse V1 is generated. A pulse generating circuit 11 outputs a pulse output V2 as many as prescribed times, while outputting a high level as the select signal V3 for the pulse generation period. This pulse is inputted through a selector 13 to a drive circuit 14 and transmitted from a light emitting element 15 on the transmission side A. This infrared output is received by a light reception element 16 on the reception side B, and a reception pulse V4 is outputted via a detection circuit 17. |
