PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide color filters which are flat and have high color purity with good productivity by an ink jet method. SOLUTION: A resist layer 3 of a positive type is formed on a light shielding layer 2 and is subjected to exposure 4 and development from a substrate 1 side by using the light shielding layer 2 as a mask, by which ink is sprayed to recessed parts segmented by weirs by projecting parts 5 consisting of the resist and the light shielding layer 2 with an ink jet method to form colored layers. The projecting parts 5 are thereafter removed. As a result, the color filters having good separability of colors and good flatness may be easily obtd. with the good productivity. |
