PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin composition having excellent shelf stability, workability, etc., and heat resistance after curing by including an epoxy resin, a polymer composed of a polycarbodiimide and a curing agent for the epoxy resin. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a polymer obtained by reacting a carbodiimide group of (i) a polycarbodiimide (preferably having 3-200 average polymerization degree) with a reactive group of (ii) a compound containing the group reactive with the carbodiimide group in the molecule and (C) a curing agent for the epoxy resin. In the component (ii), the reactive group is preferably a phenolic hydroxyl group or an amide group and contains neither active hydrogen nor C-C unsaturated bond at all. The amount of the compound B mixed is preferably 1-500 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A. The amount of the component C mixed is preferably 0.1-1.2 equivalents based on 1 equivalent of the component A. |
