PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an image of glossy photographic quality by using base paper having a layer containing barium sulfate and fine beads on at least one surface. SOLUTION: Thermally deformable plastics hollow polymer fine beads is most suitable for a system of polystylene-acrylate and stylene or acrylic resin. The diameter of fine beads can be at least 0.2 μm. The fine beads of a diameter of 0.4-5 μm are preferable in particular. The content of fine beads in a layer containing barium sulfate can be 1-70 wt.%. If the content of fine beads is 20-50 wt.%, good results can be obtained particularly. Base paper shakes a core of the original paper. For an original paper core, it is preferable to be matter manufactured by using chemical pulp or pulp mixture of a short fiber content of 80-98 wt.%, in particular, 85-95 wt.%. Particularly, it is suitable to be a pulp mixture of broad leaved trees of 0.5-60 mm in fiber length. |
