<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to measure an optimal height of a handrail and related positions for a person beforehand in facilities like a hospital, etc., before he comes back to stay at home. SOLUTION: This handrail position measuring instrument 1 is provided with a vertical flat plate-like and freely mobile base board 2, a lifting panel 33 which is arranged on the base board 2 and freely slides up and down, a lifting means for driving the lift panel 33 up and down with respect to the base board 2, a panel board 40 which is arranged to be freely attachable and detachable on the lifting panel 33 and also freely slide as a sliding door in the horizontal direction to the lifting panel 33, a horizontal handrail 41 horizontally attached in the neighborhood of bottom edge of the panel board 40, a pair of vertical handrails 43 vertically attached in the neighborhood of both right and left edges of the panel board 40, a lock mechanism 45 for halting and latching the sliding movement of the panel board 40 with respect to the lifting panel 33, and a vertical handrail 49 vertically arranged on the side edge of the base board 2 to be freely detachable via a bracket 51. Moreover, the horizontal handrail 41, the vertical handrails 43, and the vertical handrail 49 are made of wooden material.</p> |
