PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running firing type shooting toy for running firing flat bullets. SOLUTION: The running firing type shooting toy comprises a gun barrel 1, a flat plate-like firing hammer 4 provided slidably by giving an advancing nature to the barrel 1, a bullet charging unit 3 for charging laminated flat plate-like bullets 12 made of a foamed urethane or a cardboard provided at an upper part near an end of the barrel 1, and a trigger 5 provided by giving an advancing nature to the barrel 1. An engaging pawl 19 projected from an upper part of the trigger is detachably formed at an engaging hole 17 formed at the hammer 4. An oblique surface 23 for raising a rear part of the hammer 4 to a height position in which the hole 17 is removed from the pawl 19 by riding a rear end of the hammer 4 on an upper rear part of the barrel 1 upon pulling to return the hammer 4 via the pawl 14 of the trigger 5 is provided on the upper face of the rear part of the barrel 1. When the rear part of the hammer 4 rides on the surface 23 that the hole 17 is removed from the pawl 19, the hammer 4 is advanced to shoot a lowermost bullet in the unit 3. When the trigger 5 is released, the trigger is advanced so that the pawl 19 is automatically engaged with the hole 17 of the hammer to be reset to an initial state.
