PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silane-crosslinkable polyolefin resin composition that gives molded products having excellent smoothness of the molded surfaces and excellent resistance to heat. SOLUTION: This silane-crosslinkable olefin resin polymer composition comprises (1) a base polymer and (2) a carrier polymer containing an organic unsaturated silane represented by the formula: RR'SiY2 (R is a monovalent olefinically unsaturated hydrocarbon group; Y is a hydrolyzable organic group; R' is a monovalent hydrocarbon group other than aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbons or is equal to Y), a free radical generator and a silanol condensation catalyst. In this case, the base polymer is a mixture of 45-99 pts.wt. of a straight-chain medium or low density polyethylene that has a degree of dispersion (Mw/Mn) of >=4, and 1-55 pts.wt. of a high density or low density polyethylene and has an average density of 0.915 g/cm3-0.935 g/cm3 where the mixture has an average density of 0.915 g/cm3-0.935 g/cm3 and a heat distortion rate after melt-kneading (according to JIS K 6723) of <=40%.
