PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely decide the carrying direction by driving a sphere by contact with a disc-like rotor, and switching the contact position. SOLUTION: A sphere 1 in a holding roller 3 is brought into contact with a rotary disc 2. thus, a carried article 7 is fed out. The carrying direction and the transport speed can be freely decided by switching the contact position. Accordingly, the article can be automatically transported freely, forward and backward, right and left and obliquely without providing a difference in level, and without normally rotating and reversing the driving part. Further, the carrying speed can be switched and the acceleration and deceleration in feeding out the article or stopping the same can be made slow depending on the contact position of the disc and the moving speed of the disc. Thus, the articles can be freely distributed to their respective directions in one place, and furthermore, vibration and shock given to the carried article can be softened.
