PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent lead terminals from lifting from the base of a seat board. SOLUTION: This electronic component is equipped with a part main body 10 that comprises a metal case 11, where a part element is housed and whose opening is sealed up with a sealer and a pair of lead terminals 12 that are led out in the same direction through the sealer extending from the part element and a seat board 20 mounted on the sealer side of the metal case 11, wherein the lead terminals 12 are led to the base 21 of the seat board 20, and the tips of the lead terminals 12 are bent in the directions receding from each other along the base 21 of the seat board 20. In this case, the lead terminals 12 and 12 are equipped with claw pieces 13 and 13 that are frictionally engaged with the side 22 of the seat board 20.
