PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal and housing which can generate a leaf spring contact force satisfactorily and stably, make the mating connector compact, heighten the tolerance of the inclination of a male terminal, prevent a leaf spring from cracking, etc., intensify the reverse insert preventing function for the female terminal, preclude damage to the leaf spring, etc., at testing the electric continuity of the female terminal, and make the connector compact in height. SOLUTION: A connector terminal and housing according to the invention is equipped with a terminal body 10 having an insert hole 11 for a male terminal T and a connection part 12 for an electric wire W and locked by a retainer 60 of housing H, a leaf spring 20 stretching forward inside the terminal body, and a stabilizer 30 installed on the outside of the terminal body and going beyond a lance 53 of the housing to be locked to the lance, and there an R-part 21 is formed bent approx. in an arc of circle round the base end of the leaf spring, and a bead part 22 is formed whose section is curved so as to heighten the flexural rigidity toward the forefront farther than the R-part, and the stabilizer is given with a surface directed across the width and arranged upright over the height from the foremost extremity of the terminal body.
