PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the operation of a spring member and also to prevent the scrape of a cartridge case due to the deflective deformation of the spring member at the time of attaching/detaching a leader pin, in a magnetic tape cartridge wherein a single reel provided with wound magnetic tape is rotatably housed in the cartridge case and the leader pin fixed to a tip part of the magnetic tape is attachably/detachably held by the spring member. SOLUTION: A fixed part 30c fixed to the cartridge case 3 and a deflectively deformale arm part 30b for attachably/detachably holding the end part of the leader pin 21 while being consecutively connected to one end of this fixed part 30c are provided on the spring member 30. Also, the wall surface 32b confronted with the arm part 30b of the cartridge case 3 is formed to the recessed shape against the wall surface 32a confronted with the fixed part 30c.
