The invention relates to an administration system for administering infusion solutions and irrigation liquids. The system includes a closed container that contains infusion liquid or irrigation liquid, and an administration set having an inlet end for connection to the container and an outlet end for connection to a syringe. The system includes an adapter (33) which is designed for connection between the closed container (1; 4) and the inlet end (14) of the set (13).
